- NOC (No Objection Certificate) from author / Applicant.

Costing and Timeline
Costing
Literary* / Dramatic / Musical / Artistic work : Rs 7,000 per work per application
Cinematograph Film : Rs. 15,000 per work per application
Sound Recording : Rs. 10,000 per work per application
- Cost is inclusion of official fees and attorney fees
- GST @ 18% will be applicable additionally on payment in Indian Rupees
- For terms of payment (and applicable discount), please download the quotation and call us.
- *Literary work includes computer programmes, tables and compilations, including computer databases. “Source Code” and “Object Code” have also to be supplied along with the application for registration of copyright for software products.
Timeline
6 months approx., if there no objection or opposition raised.
Validity and Renewal
Validity
The general rule is that copyright lasts for 60 years. This period is counted as-

- Works of government & international organizations
Renewal
It can be renewed by applying the renewal fees.
Registration Process
Process of Copyright is divided into 5 steps:
- Step-1: Copyright Filing
- Step-2: Diary Number Allotment
- Step-3: Scrutiny, by copyright office
- Step-4: Discrepancy Clarification (If any discrepancy is found)
- Step-5: Copyright Registration
